# Configure availability for a specific time span

In this article, we explain how you can configure your availability for a specific period of time. This allows you to adjust your bookability within a defined date range.

This is useful for temporary projects, sales promotions, event calendars, or seasonal services.

## How to configure your schedule for a specific period

1. Go to the [Meeting Types](https://my.meetergo.com/meeting-types) in your meetergo account
2. Create a new appointment type by clicking on "**New**" or edit an existing appointment type by selecting it from the list
3. In the appointment type settings, switch to the "**When can people book?**" tab
4. Under "**Date Range**" select "**within a date range**"

5. Set the start and end date range for your availability.
6. Save your settings.
7. If you want to set specific available times, you can further [adjust your availability](/en/article/availability-1gsxajf/) or set preferences such as buffers, booking limits, and time slot intervals.

Finally, use "**Preview**" to view our booking page. There, we can confirm if everything is set up correctly. If slots aren't displaying as expected, we can use the "**Troubleshoot**" button to understand why certain time slots are not showing. Once everything is correct, our link is ready to be shared.
