# meetergo and Data Privacy Regulations

meetergo ensures not only your privacy but also that of your customers, complying with the strictest data protection standards, including GDPR, when scheduling appointments. You can send booking links worry-free with these assurances:

* meetergo is offered by a German Corporation (GmbH) and hosted in Germany.
* Our booking links DO NOT use cookies.
* The Data Processing Agreement (DPA) can be downloaded at any time.
* We provide a text snippet for your privacy policy.
* There are various settings available, such as regularly deleting customer data.

In this article, I'll guide you on how to effectively use meetergo to protect your customers' data.

## Step 1: Download the Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

1. Go to your [Business Settings](https://my.meetergo.com/admin/brand).
2. Ensure your address on [Company Details](https://my.meetergo.com/admin/general) page is correctly entered for proper addressing of the DPA.
3. On "**Privacy page",** find "**Download privacy documents**" and click on "**Contract**" button on the right to download the completed DPA.

## Step 2: Add a Text Passage to Your Privacy Policy

Since meetergo processes customer data on your behalf, you need to indicate this in your privacy policy.

1. Download the text snippet by clicking on the "**Policy Text**" (located next to the **Contract** button).
2. The file contains a text passage that you can directly insert into your privacy policy.

Insert this passage alongside other third-party disclosures in your privacy policy. Done!

## Step 3: Include Your Imprint and Privacy Policy

Next, let's link to our imprint and privacy policy.

1. Insert the appropriate links into the text fields on the left (see screenshot)
2. Use the toggle button "**Show data policy link**" to decide whether to display these links on your booking page
3. Don't forget to click "**Save Changes**"

## Step 4: Customize Automatic Deletion of Appointment Data

To comply with GDPR's "**Right to be Forgotten**," we offer a setting to automatically delete customer data.
